HUAWEI INDIA R&D CENTRE FILES OVER 200 PATENTS

Huawei of China has filed over 200 patents from its research and development (R&D) centre in Bangalore. The R&D centre employs over 1,600 Indian engineers. Huawei has a marketing and engineering support centre at Gurgaon with over 1,100 professionals. The company intends to set up another development centre in Bangalore with an investment of $100 million. Huawei has invested $200 million in its R&D centre in India.
